Healthy Chocolate-Banana Milkshake

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 4-6 medjool dates, pitted the more ripe the better!
  • 4-6 frozen strawberries
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup plant milk I use soy milk!
  • 1 cup ice

Optional but Recommended!

  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • cup frozen cauliflower (adds a veggie!)
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 2 tsp maca or superfood blend

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender except for ice
  • Once the dates and everything else have blended, add the ice and blend for another few seconds!
  • You can drizzle your glass with date syrup if you're feeling fancy! Enjoy!

Notes

I try to use as many organic ingredients as possible to reduce exposure to pesticides and heavy-metals, but not everything I use it organic 100% of the time! It's all about the majority of what you're eating and using!
