Fudgy Banana Oat Brownies

Equipment

  • food processor or blender

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans
  • ½ cup oats
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 small ripe banana
  • cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp date sugar or increase maple syrup to ½ cup
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chunks

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Strain and rinse black beans, add to food processor and pulse a few times
  • Add all of the ingredients except for the chocolate chunks to the food processor and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness and saltiness to your liking!
  • Pour into a brownie pan and bake for 15 minutes
  • Let cool for at least 5 minutes and enjoy!
