I alternate between red wine vinegar & balsamic vinegar depending on the style of salad I am making!
Using red wine vinegar makes for the perfect pairing with an Italian-style salad! The red wine vinegar has a super fresh flavor and compliments the sweetness in the maple syrup very well!
I use balsamic if I’m going for more of a Greek salad vibe or just a deeper flavor profile!
Sometimes, I will add a little dijon mustard to the dressing as well!

- ¼ Cup 100% maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp filtered water
- ½ Tsp sea salt
- ¼ Tsp black pepper

- 1 Tsp Italian spice blend Or herbs of choice
- 1-2 Tsp olive or avocado oil if not oil-free
- 2 Tsp dijon mustard
